About Hanna Jämsä

I am Hanna Jämsä, 46 years old native of Jyväskylä and a mother of two doughters. With a background as a physiotherapist, I’ve dedicated my career to enhancing well-being in our community.

Professional Journey

I began my professional journey providing demanding medical rehabilitation services under Finland’s Social Insurance Institution. Since 2015, I’ve expanded my expertise into customer service, development, and leadership roles within physiotherapy and medical centers.

Political Engagement

My passion for human rights, equality, environmental conservation, and education led me to join the Green League. I’m committed to building a sustainable and vibrant Jyväskylä.

I am a candidate in county and municipal elections in Jyväskylä and Central Finland. Election day is Sunday 13 April 2025. Polling stations will be open on election day from 9.00 to 20.00.

The advance voting period is from 2 to 8 April 2025 in Finland and from 2 to 5 April 2025 abroad.

Campaign Focus

I want to build a future for Jyväskylä and Central Finland, where everyday life matters. Everyone, regardless of their background, has the right to a humane and dignified daily life and existence.

As a candidate, I am looking towards the
future of Jyväskylä and Central Finland, where:

  • We protect local nature and promote sustainable mobility.
  • We defend human rights and take care of every individual.
  • We care for the well-being of children, young people, and families.
  • We support learning and education.
  • Everyone has access to social and healthcare services in a timely manner.
  • Culture belongs to everyone.
